What are the Components of a Horoscope..?

Horoscope consists of nine planets, 12 zodiac signs, and 12 houses. It has four primary angles. The 12 houses represent positions of nine planets in 12 different zodiac signs. Depending on the position of planets, events take place in the life of a person, which can be good or bad.

What are the Planets and its positions in a Horoscope / Kundali..?

The nine planets which are primarily used in Hindu astrology are – the Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Rahu, and Ketu. The latter two are not physical planets. Instead, they are points where the earth and the moon pass by each other. These intersection points have a severe impact on nature, and that’s why they are called planets in astrology. Except for the nine planets, Gullika (Maandi) is also an important planet in astrology.

What differentiates the Lagna chart from the Navamsa chart..?

Lagna chart or birth chart denotes planetary positions of the time when a person was born. Lagna chart predicts life in general of a person, whereas the Navamsa chart is a part of a Lagna chart. Navamsa chart has only the 9th house of the Lagna chart, also known as the D-9 chart. Navamsa chart rules your destiny; it is significant for understanding things like your luck, past life karma, and, most commonly, to know things about married life.

Impact of Yoga on life depends upon the power of planets, lords, houses, Navamsa position, etc. Raja Yoga denote great popularity and social status. Dhana Yoga is perceived as a wealth giver. There are hundreds of such Yogas in Hindu astrological scriptures, of both types, good and bad.
